Every child deserves a secure future, guarded and safe in the hands of caregivers.

“Poverty and lack should not mean social instability, abuse and neglect of children”

Why we started.

There is a consistent increase in the cases of child negligence, abuse and lack of daily essential. In cases where aid is provided, distribution of resources remain a challenge.

We want to stop this.

STATUS

According to data published by APEVAC, July 22, 2021. About half of all children in Africa experience physical abuse, while in some parts of the continent, four in 10 girls suffer from sexual violence before the age of 15.
In addition, the studies found that:
• In some regions, more than eight out of 10 children aged 1-14 experience violent discipline every month
• Africa has the highest rates of child neglect in the world, with 41.8 per cent of girls and 39.1 per cent of boys being neglected by their caregivers
• Sexual violence against children with disabilities is high in many countries, ranging from two incidents per child in Senegal to four per child in Cameroon
• In Nigeria, 66 per cent of girls and 58 per cent of boys under 18 witness violence in the home
• More than half of all children aged 13-15 in West and Central Africa are bullied in school.

Turning a blind eye to these events is not an option.

Children's Charity in Africa

Accountability.

We are bridging the gap of inappropriate aid distribution and rebuilding trust to Stakeholders whilst providing these aid as well. Our integrity as an organisation comes from the values and principles that guide our work.

We believe in the worth, equality and dignity of every child and respect the differences in each child. We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to live and become someone better in the society.

We have researched and observed African poor communities and the failure to distribute aid fairly. Our aim is to make the Life cycle of aid from us and all our partners as transparent as possible through:

Updating visuals and allowing sponsors to have access to check on projects they support or intend to support;
Videos of trainings and material distribution on this website.

our Vision

To have communities where children can receive love,  care and live free from fear and insecurity.
We work to create and promote conditions where:

  • Children can be given equal love and care.

  • Children can have a safe environment to live.

  • Children can trust the caregivers in charge of them.

  • Communities are aware of climate change impacts and how to best adapt.

Environment

Increasing temperatures and sea levels, changing precipitation patterns and more extreme weather are threatening human health and safety, food and water security and socio-economic development in Africa, according to a new report by United Nations (2020) devoted exclusively to the continent. However, the response to climate change impact in the continent remain reactive due to poor governance, poverty and lack of awareness. We localise adaptation needs and make them simple behavioural change.

We strongly believe that together we will make a difference for future generation by engaging in responsible environmental practices.

Sponsor a Child in Africa

The stare of hope!

We train caregivers + educate and support them, financially and materially.

Sponsoring a child return or start school:
Socialization and poverty is a difficult mix when those in poverty are excluded. Those who suffer financial hardship dress differently, value things differently and are often unable to engage in the same activities as their mates.
When putting abject poverty into the context of socialisation, even the aid that a poor family provides can be less.
Typically, trauma of bullying and isolation can distance families, each member hurt by the pain of their shared socioeconomic status.

Education

Education is a fundamental step to securing a better future. A considerable number of African children are out of school. According to recent research, Africa has the world's lowest secondary school rates of enrollment. Twenty-eight percent of children get enrolled in secondary school. Around 90 million of African teenagers have to push hard for employment in low-paid and physically exhausting jobs.
We can help build classes for deprived communities where children look forward to learn.
